Description

Mulmul (Malmal) :
First weaved in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 17th & 18th centuries, the Europeans believed it originated in Mosul, Iraq. Hence, the name Muslin (mulmul).
The fabric is soft, delicate, lightweight and breezy, which makes it perfect summer wear around the globe. Mulmul is versatile and can be woven on all kind of looms depending on the fabric count. Mostly, fine quality mulmul is always woven with the Hand-Loom or the Pit-Loom.
Mulmul can be dyed into any color, it’s used for block prints and paintings too. So as the love for mulmul is constant and the demand is increasing day by day, here’s our very own ode to this beautiful piece of textile art…

We have this beautiful 6 yard mulmul saree, with pompoms.

This saree was my first purchase from the brand. I wasn't sure about the quality until the moment i touched it. Black sarees are best way of expression as i believe and this one stands above the mark. I really really admired the quality, fabric texture, light weight, breezy in comfort and moreover it's hand-loom which makes me extra glad every time to make the purchase of mulmul cotton from them with fairly paid for the weavers. Now I don't need another thought where to buy such beautiful sarees.
